Why is command and control important in the fire service?

An effective firefighting operation requires a command center. If there is no command, the firefighting operation will be quickly disrupted.

Without proper teamwork and planning, participating members will not be able to fulfill their responsibilities and roles properly. This rupture means a lack of coordination in operations, which causes the strategy, tactics and quality of firefighting operations to be confused and fragmented. Therefore, the design and production of hardware and software equipment in this area requires a comprehensive and intelligent system such as ICS  equipment.
